Bobby Cummings, PE, DBIA, was recently elected to a three-year term to serve on the Board of Directors for the International Association of Law Enforcement Firearms Instructors (IALEFI). The Board of Directors manages the organization, who are elected among active members.
“I’m incredibly honored and excited to be elected to the IALEFI Board of Directors,” said Bobby Cummings, Principal and Public Safety Practice Leader. “This organization has done great work around the world, and I hope I can continue making this the best organization it can be.”
An independent, non-profit member association, IALEFI was founded in 1981 by a group of firearms instructors. The group, comprised of law enforcement professionals, recognized the need to update and modernize the instruction and teaching techniques used to train law enforcement officers in firearms and the use of force. Today, IALEFI offers training, courses, and conferences to provide members with the latest techniques, technologies, and methods for law enforcement firearms instructors.
