Our Public Safety team has been out and about this past month!

At the Bianchi Cup, Vice President Mike Stilwell presented the Law Enforcement Champion trophy to the top Law Enforcement shooter in the competition, Bruce Piatt. The Civilian Marksmanship Program hosted the event this year at the Green Valley Rifle & Pistol Club in Missouri. The revered competition is one of the world’s most prestigious action shooting events. This annual tournament started in 1979, making it the second longest-running pistol championship in the world.

At the 2023 Station Design Conference, Principal Danny Walker hosted our Clark Nexsen table. This conference is a networking event between public safety officials, fire chiefs, police chiefs, project managers, and municipal managers. Programs held during the event focus on fire station and law enforcement design.

Finally, at the Law Enforcement United (LEU) Road to Hope from Chesapeake, VA, to Washington, DC, Clark Nexsen sponsored Danny Walker’s participation for his seventh consecutive year. Danny was joined by a group of CN supporters for the big send-off. LEU, an all-volunteer 501-C3 organization founded in 2009, collects sponsorships through several bicycle rides. They also have rides from Miami, Raleigh, Roanoke, New Jersey, and Ohio, all ending in Washington, DC. All funds raised are given to support families of Law Enforcement Officers killed in the line of duty.
